Mike graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Software Engineering and a M.S. in Information, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. Currently, he owns and works full-time for TechReprieve LLC, providing software engineering, project management, and usability services. TechReprieve is a member of the Factotem Constellation. In his previous position, Mike was the Director of Engineering at Diamond Bullet Design in Ann Arbor. As director, he oversaw software engineering, project management, and usability services for various clients. Mike was responsible for a number of defining projects at Diamond Bullet. His clients included ABC News, U.S. News, FullScope, pdtrials.org, Calsonic Kansei NA, the University of Michigan Business School and the University of Michigan Alumni Association. As a Macintosh software engineer in Apple's Advanced Technologies Group, Mike worked on development of Apple's Information Access Toolkit. He's also worked as a Macintosh software engineer and HCI/Usability specialist at Gene Codes Corporation in Ann Arbor. Mike's professional interests lie in project efficiency, usability engineering, information retrieval, and user interface design. Mike has been working on internet-based software solutions for over ten years as a software engineer and usability practitioner. He brings a rich knowledge of user-based software development processes, usability analysis activities, and project organization and management to bear for his clients. Most recently, Mike has been working for TechReprieve, a web software engineering and usability services company in Ann Arbor, MI. A few of the clients that he has had the privilege to work with include the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, Q Ltd, Stout Systems, and the Michigan Life Sciences Pipeline. Prior to that, Mike was Director of Engineering at Diamond Bullet Design in Ann Arbor.
